Legal Counsel - Privacy, AI & Legal Product

We're looking for a thoughtful and hands-on legal counsel to join our team and help us navigate privacy, AI regulation, and legal product workstreams. If you’re passionate about technology and regulation, and enjoy working closely with product and engineering teams, this might be a great fit.

About the role

As part of our growing legal and compliance efforts, you’ll advise on global privacy and AI-related matters, help shape internal policies and processes, and support product teams in building with compliance in mind. The role combines regulatory depth with practical, day-to-day collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Advise on privacy, data protection, and AI legal issues (including GDPR, CCPA/US state laws, and Israeli law - including Amendment 13)
• Support or lead projects such as gap assessments, RoPA, DPIAs, internal documentation, and policy reviews
• Draft and review data processing agreements, privacy notices, and product terms
• Draft customer-facing documents including privacy policy, cookie policy, terms and more.
• Provide internal guidance on DSARs, DPO-related responsibilities, and client-facing compliance questions
• Work with product, legal, and engineering teams on privacy and AI considerations throughout the product lifecycle
• Help track legal and regulatory developments in data protection and AI governance

Requirements

• Licensed attorney (Israel Bar required)
• Relevant experience in privacy, tech law, or regulatory compliance
• Strong understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and Israeli privacy law (including recent reforms)
• Experience conducting privacy or AI-related assessments, and drafting legal and operational documentation
• Fluent in English – strong writing and communication skills are essential
• Ability to translate legal requirements into practical guidance
• Experience advising on DPO matters – an advantage
• Interest in AI regulation (e.g. EU AI Act) – a plus
