Head of Electrical Engineering

Main Responsibilities:

• Leading supervision and control of electrical systems at power plants and the company’s solar assets.
• Ensuring compliance with international standards (TUC, IEC, CE, FAA, ICAO).
• Managing integration processes between electrical systems, including high and low voltage systems.
• Overseeing electrical safety, inspections, and professional certifications.
• Managing preventive and routine maintenance.
• Planning and leading technological upgrades.
• Monitoring operational performance and energy efficiency.
• Managing electrical teams in multi-disciplinary projects.
• Participating in strategic decision-making in the fields of energy and sustainability.

Minimum Requirements and Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from a recognized academic institution.
• Registration with the Engineers’ Registry – certified Electrical Engineer.
• At least 5 years of experience in design, supervision, or management of electrical systems in industrial or energy projects.

Professional Knowledge and Required Skills:

• Proficiency in international standards: TUC, IEC, CE, FAA, ICAO.
• Familiarity with high and low voltage systems, electrical panels, backup systems, control systems, and SCADA.
• Experience working with regulatory authorities, including the Electricity Authority, Electric Company, Standards Institute, and Ministry of Energy.
• Ability to analyze and understand complex electrical drawings and plans.
• Experience managing technical teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Technical writing skills and preparation of design documents, specifications, and work instructions.
• Availability to work on projects nationwide.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including interfaces with other engineering disciplines.
