SEO Content Strategist

One of the Big Five Tech companies is seeking an industry expert to partner in the development of a comprehensive SEO Content Strategy and execution plan to drive organic search traffic, increase share of voice for priority keywords, and ultimately drive adoption of Global, scaled products

Location: Tel Aviv | hybrid (3 days remote, 2 days on-site)

Scope:

1. SEO Content Strategy

-Assess existing goals and KW (Keywords) approach, helping to refine strategies and technologies to effectively monitor and analyze website performance using industry best-practices, SEO tools and analytics

-Identify additional ways of thinking about consumer search patterns and behaviors to inform keyword research and content opportunities

-Collaborate with technical SEO teams on best practices to support editorial SEO initiatives and ensure marketing and business objectives are set up for success

-Develop a global content strategy using keyword research and search patterns to deliver impact against goals and articulate a vision for best in class SEO, GEO and AEO

-Consult on measurement framework and KPIs to track progress to goals

1. SEO Content Creation

-Write website content designed to target identified user intents and influence ranking and share of voice for the company product(s)

-Build a yearly plan to ensure a consistent flow of new content is created and published on the website

1. Execution and tactics

-Develop a prioritized list of recommendations for the short and long-term including, but not limited to content development (topics, formats, etc), page types (ex. Blog, landing page, CLP, PMP, etc) linking/backlinking, and additional front-end SEO levers

-Articulate a definition for “quality” SEO and a framework for assessing the value and impact of various formats and tactics against one another (ex. Blog post, existing page update, net new page, etc).

-Collaborate with product team to support execution of highest priority optimizations and content creation

-Create guidelines, standards and workflows anchored in SEO content strategy that are repeatable and scalable to support product launches and changes in the generative AI ecosystem

-Consider outside of the box and big bet opportunities to accelerate impact beyond standard KW research, content updates and front end SEO tactics

-Articulate an approach to international SEO (prioritization, operationalization, etc)

-Consult on testing and learning agendas

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in SEO, particularly with high-traffic and highly competitive web properties. Has a strong portfolio of successful B2C SEO projects and strong examples of B2C writing, explaining complex concepts in easy to understand language- Must!
• In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and SEMrush- Must!
• High level English- Must!
• Proven experience in building and shipping elaborate content strategies Must!
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions- Must!
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment- Must!
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong track record of strong execution in a fast paced environment
