We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on RF/Microwave Design Engineer to join our advanced R&D team. This role involves the design and development of cutting-edge MW/RF/electro-optic systems, integrating multi-disciplinary technologies including detectors, lasers, magnetic components, and quantum-optic circuitry.
The ideal candidate will have strong practical experience in experimental physics environments and extensive know-how in electromagnetic field theory across MW, RF, and DC domains.
Responsibilities:
Design, simulate, and validate complex MW/RF/DC circuits and systems, including quantum-optic and electro-optic modules.
Develop custom PCBs for RF/MW applications, from initial concept to lab integration.
Set up and orchestrate advanced optical and electro-optical experiments, integrating detectors, lasers, motors, RF/MW components, and computer-based control systems.
Lead hands-on R&D activities: prototyping, fabrication, assembly, integration, testing, and debugging of complete systems.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in optics, electronics, and software to deliver functional and high-performance prototypes.
Document system designs, validation results, and test procedures to support engineering continuity and knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications:
Ph.D. / Msc. in Electrical Eng./ Electro-optics /Physics. (Postdoc and/or industrial experience – an advantage)
Over 3 years of hands-on experience in MW/RF circuit.
Over 3 years of practical experience in the research and development of electro-optic systems, including experimental setup and peripheral integration (lasers, detectors, motors, RF/MW, etc.).
Deep knowledge of electromagnetic field theory (MW/RF/DC).
Experience with simulation tools such as ADS, HFSS, CST, or similar.
Familiarity with computer-based experimental control systems (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, or custom platforms).
Advantages:
Background in quantum optics or experimental quantum physics.
Experience working in laboratory environments on high-end detectors and precision measurement systems.
