aChord is a social-academic center using behavioral science to reduce social gaps and promote a shared society in Israel. We’re looking for a Research Lead to join our Employment team and lead applied, data-driven projects focused on promoting diverse and inclusive employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and execute applied quantitative research projects (e.g., surveys, field studies, experiments)
- Conduct statistical analyses using SPSS or R, and synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to translate research into accessible content, recommendations, and tools
- Present findings to internal and external stakeholders, including employers, NGOs, and government partners
- Contribute to ongoing learning and evaluation processes across the Employment team.
Qualifications
- MA or PhD in Social Sciences (preferably Social Psychology or related fields)
- At least 2 years of experience in leading applied quantitative research projects
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS or R – required)
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to communicate complex findings clearly
- Excellent writing skills in Hebrew; English proficiency is an advantage
- Experience working in or with diverse teams or systems – an asset
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across sectors
Details
- 60–80% position (part-time)
- Hybrid model: remote work with regular meetings at aChord’s office in Shefayim
- Start date: Summer 2025
