Academy product manager

We are seeking a talented and dynamic Product Manager to lead the development of AvaTrade’s digital learning academy – a strategic initiative within a leading global FinTech company. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a cross-functional project from definition and planning through to launch and ongoing optimization – combining product thinking, learning experience design, and a strong user focus. A key part of the role involves selecting, defining, and managing a Learning Management System (LMS/LMC) platform to serve as the foundation for the academy.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full product lifecycle of AvaTrade’s new online academy – from vision and platform selection to execution and launch
• Define the product roadmap and specifications for a scalable LMS/LMC platform, whether via integration or in-house development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: content experts, designers, developers, compliance, and marketing
• Drive product decisions that balance business needs, user experience, and regulatory considerations
• Analyze product usage, course engagement, and learning metrics to continuously optimize the experience
• Structure and manage course layouts, user journeys, assessments, certifications, and localization needs
• Ensure high-quality learning delivery in line with AvaTrade’s brand, tone, and global reach
• Own the documentation, KPIs, and sprint management around all academy development

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in product management – ideally in EdTech, digital platforms, or online learning environments
• Hands-on experience with LMS/LMC systems such as Moodle, TalentLMS, LearnUpon, or equivalent – must
• Background in building or managing digital learning academies –advantage
• Familiarity with UX/UI and structuring engaging, learner- advantage
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with engagement metrics and feedback loops
• Excellent English communication skills – both written and verbal
• Fintech background – advantage
• Highly independent, organized, and comfortable owning a product end to end
