About The Role
As a Platform Tech Lead at BlinkOps, you will take ownership of the core infrastructure and architecture of our platform, lead technical design, and drive engineering excellence. You’ll be hands-on with the code while also mentoring other engineers and setting the standard for high-quality, scalable development.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of the core platform architecture
- Own key infrastructure components, ensuring performance, scalability, and security
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Establish best practices for code, architecture, testing, and CI/CD
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies and tools to support platform growth
- Guide and mentor engineers on technical challenges and growth
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role
- Deep understanding of modern cloud-native architecture (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, microservices)
- Hands-on experience with backend development (Go preferred, Python, Java or C#)
- Strong infrastructure knowledge – experience with AWS/GCP, IaC (Terraform/CDK), observability, and security
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Passion for clean architecture, developer experience, and scalable systems
