Delivery Program Manager

Job Description:

Smart-Shooter is growing and looking for a Delivery Program Manager.

This function is responsible for overseeing the successful execution and delivery of the company’s systems to military customers. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, complete successful integration, and meet all technical and regulatory requirements. The Delivery Program Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely delivery of company’s products.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers during the project phase, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Ensure all project activities comply with relevant regulations, security protocols, and contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales & contracts, engineering, operation, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams, as well as development program managers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Track project milestones, KPIs, and deliverables, providing regular status reports to senior management and customers.
• Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in the defense sector, preferably in system delivery.
• Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is desirable.
• Familiarity with defense systems, military standards, and government contracting processes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze complex challenges and develop strategic solutions.
