Senior SLAM/VIO computer vision Engineer

Role Description

We are seeking a passionate Senior Computer Vision Engineer to join our full-time, on-site team at Cyberbee in Rosh HaAyin. In this role, you will focus on the R&D aspects of SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) development, including:

• Conducting research on new SLAM approaches and methodologies.
• Enhancing the stability and accuracy of existing SLAM features.
• Managing and analyzing large datasets to inform development and improvements.
• Collaborating closely with the team to solve complex problems as the subject matter expert.
• Mentoring and supporting team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable environment.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s or PhD is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Programming: Proficient in Python and C++ (minimum 5 years of experience).
• SLAM: Experience with Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) or a strong understanding of the concepts (minimum 2 years).
• Computer Vision & Pattern Recognition: Extensive knowledge and practical experience.
• Deep Learning: Experience with deep learning frameworks and applications is a bonus.
