DevOps Hands-on Team Leader

🚀 We're Hiring: DevOps Hands-on Team Leader

A global, innovative, and stable product company is looking for a DevOps Team Leader to join our team. This role includes 70%-80% hands-on work alongside leading a DevOps engineer.

📍 Location: Sharon area (Israel)

🕘 Employment: Full-time | Hybrid: 2 days from home per week

Requirements – Must Have:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles
• 2+ years of experience as a team lead
• Proven leadership in delivery ownership, team effort prioritization, and fostering a culture of accountability
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, and Git-based CI/CD (e.g., Bitbucket Pipelines)
• Strong experience with AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, RDS) and familiarity with Azure
• In-depth understanding of ECR, scalable systems, microservices architecture, and system recovery processes
• Strong skills in Linux, networking, and databases (MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB Atlas), with hands-on production troubleshooting
• Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Logz.io)
• Solid track record of incident management and root cause analysis in production environments
• Expertise in security hardening, patching, and SRE best practices
• Excellent planning, prioritization, documentation, and tracking skills using Jira
• Fluent English (written and verbal), with strong interpersonal and communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience integrating SonarQube
• Scripting skills (Node.js, Python, Bash)
• Experience in on-premises infrastructure and cloud migration projects
• Security certifications (e.g., CKA, CKAD, CISSP)
