Role Overview

We are looking for a talented and driven Backend Developer to help us build and scale the core infrastructure of our platform. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems that are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance. This role is perfect for someone passionate about clean code, APIs, and building products that power real-world experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Design system architecture with performance and security in mind.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and operations to deliver new features.
• Optimize server performance, database interactions, and codebase efficiency.
• Ensure proper documentation, testing, and version control.
• Proactively identify and resolve system issues and bottlenecks.

Tech Stack

• Languages: Java, Kotlin, Go
• Frameworks: Spring Boot, RESTful APIs
• Databases: SQL / NoSQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Cloud & DevOps: Docker, CI/CD pipelines, AWS or similar

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin (Go is a plus).
• Experience designing and scaling backend systems in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of system design, API architecture, and database management.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and deployment workflows.
• A team player with great communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Bonus Points

• Experience in gaming, mobile apps, or gambling platforms.
• Startup or early-stage product experience.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance in regulated industries.
