We are looking for highly motivated, and passionate Junior PHY algorithms Engineer to join our team. The candidate will join a team of experience wireless communication algorithms engineers, and will be involved in research and design, of advanced and cutting-edge cellular communication algorithms for our 4G products.

What you'll do:

• Maintain, improve and add features to 4G wireless communication transmitter/receiver Matlab simulation.
• Designing, defining, and developing of PHY algorithms based on system requirements, considering the trade-offs between performance, implementation cost, real-time, and time-to-market.
• Algorithms implementation from research to simulation level to an official release, including literature survey, Matlab/C modeling, specification document, escorting implementation & integration toward high-quality releases.
• Support software & system teams with the algorithm’s implementation, verification & integration.
  
  

What you should have:

• Knowledge in digital communication theory & digital signal processing.
• Experience and high abilities in Matlab.
• An independent problem solver with excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Eager to learn and develop your professional skills in the field of wireless communications.
• Team player: Excellent communication skills, and ability to thrive in a global multi-site environment.
• 1-2 years of experience in PHY/RF wireless modems development – Advantage
• Knowledge in wireless communication & OFDM systems – Advantage
• Knowledge in the physical layer specifications of 4G or 5G-NR – Advantage
  
  

Education:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• M.Sc with a major in communication systems theory and/or signal processing - Advantage
