Application Security Specialist

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as a trusted cyber security advisor across IT and R&D teams
• Identify and assess security risks in infrastructure and application projects
• Define and implement security requirements and best practices throughout project

lifecycles.

• Design secure system architectures in alignment with company policies and industry

standards

• Support and validate risk assessments, security reviews, and penetration testing

activities

• Collaborate with architects, developers, infrastructure, DevOps, and product teams to

ensure secure delivery

• Recommend and integrate relevant security technologies to enhance system resilience

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in cyber security or information security, including project

advisory roles – Must.

• Strong understanding of application security, code-level vulnerabilities, and secure

coding practices – Must.

• Experience with security risk assessment, threat modeling, and architecture validation –

Must.

• Familiarity with networking, communication protocols, firewalls, vaults, and security

zones – Must.

• Exposure to cloud security (AWS/Azure), mobile security, and enterprise environments –

Advantage.

• Previous experience in a financial or large-scale organization – Advantage
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM – Advantage
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, data diodes

(whitelisting), and privileged access management systems.

• Background in cloud computing and mobile security domains.
