Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and driven Legal Counsel to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. This role is ideal for a lawyer with 3 to 7 years of post-qualification experience, fluent in English, and possessing a strong commercial law background. You will be deeply involved in day-to-day, intensive legal operations and will be expected to manage a wide range of legal matters with precision and business-minded insight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Director of Legal to establish the company’s legal department, implement internal processes and policies, and establish workflows across the company.
• Provide legal support for day-to-day commercial work, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, NDAs, partnership agreements, marketing agreements, vendor terms, and other business-related legal documents.
• Offer day-to-day legal counsel to internal stakeholders across departments (product, operations, sales, finance, HR, etc.), ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments across the globe, including the US, EU, UAE and other jurisdictions, that may affect the company’s operations and provide timely updates to the team.
• Support internal compliance processes, company policies, and corporate governance frameworks.

Requirements:

• Qualified lawyer with 3–7 years of post-qualification experience, ideally within a fast-paced commercial or corporate legal environment (in-house or private practice).
• Demonstrated experience in commercial law.
• Ability to work in a high-paced and dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks in parallel, as well as being able to juggle between B2C and B2B work streams.
• Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent legal research, drafting, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-moving, and ambiguous environment.
• Corporate law background or experience in privacy or employment areas is an advantage.
