automation Engineer

A leading defense company in Holon is looking for an Automation Engineer!

Responsibilities:

• Developing infrastructure and automation tools for testing
• Writing comprehensive test scenarios for both manual and automated testing, as part of routine and delivery testing processes
• Writing automated test scenarios as part of the CI/CD process
• Working closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams
• Participating in testing processes and performing hands-on tests as needed
• Analyzing test results, identifying bugs, and suggesting solutions
• Maintaining and continuously improving automation code
• Integrating automated tests into continuous integration processes

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in automation development – required
• Hands-on programming experience in languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Bash – required
• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar – required
• Experience working with test management systems (e.g., TestRail, Xray) – required
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions – strong advantage
• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS) – strong advantage
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes – advantage
