About the Role:
At Hard Rock Experience, we’re passionate about creating unforgettable experiences through cutting-edge technology. We are seeking an experienced and driven Inbound / Technical Product Manager to join our dynamic and growing team.
As a Technical Product Manager, you’ll bridge engineering, analysts, and product teams to align business needs with technical delivery. You will be responsible for connecting the dots between what customers need and what is technically feasible, ensuring that every product development project runs smoothly and delivers maximum value.
This is an opportunity to influence technical product strategy and drive technical requirements in accordance with business needs. You will identify and map detailed user flows—including both the happy path (ideal user journey) and the negative path (error and exception scenarios)—to ensure robust error management and a resilient user experience. You will work closely with the QA team to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that are grounded in well-defined acceptance criteria and meet the highest standards of reliability and usability.
You bring strong communication and systems thinking to bridge business needs with technical realities. You will make sure that customer requirements are thoroughly incorporated into product design, without overlooking technical constraints. Balancing these needs requires strong communication skills and a deep understanding of both business and technology. Furthermore, as a technical product manager, you will ensure that product features deliver maximum value without causing technical bottlenecks.
Key Points to Highlight:
- Serve as the vital connector between engineering, Business Analysts, and outbound product managers, facilitating collaboration and shared understanding.
- Shape and execute technical product strategy, ensuring all technical requirements align with evolving business objectives and customer needs.
- Define and document comprehensive user flows, including both happy paths and negative paths, to support exceptional user experiences and proactive error handling.
- Collaborate closely with QA and Business Product Managers to validate that all features meet acceptance criteria and deliver consistently high product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Refine Business Requirements: Translate business needs into clear technical specs and user stories.
- User Flow Mapping: Define user flows, including happy and error paths, to ensure UX quality.
- Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the tech backlog aligned with business goals.
- Technical Leadership & Collaboration: Clarify requirements with teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Inbound Product Management: Identify technical challenges and define robust, feasible solutions.
- Roadmap Contribution: Support roadmap planning, balancing delivery and technical debt.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for technical updates and inquiries.
- Quality Assurance Partnership: Define acceptance criteria and validate feature quality with QA.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify and resolve technical risks and dependencies early.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date technical and product documentation.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Significant experience as a Technical Product Manager, Inbound Product Manager, or similar role, preferably in SaaS or complex software environments.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of software development processes, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and modern technology stacks.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to synthesize complex technical and business information to make data-driven decisions.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and foster collaboration across team. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, balance stakeholder needs, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Agile Mindset: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with a track record of successful product delivery.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
