We’re looking for a passionate and data-driven Sales FP&A Manager to partner with our Sales organization.
In this critical role, you will drive improvements in sales efficiency and effectiveness through advanced performance analytics, KPI development, and strategic decision support. You'll collaborate closely with Sales leadership, Sales Operations, Finance, and HR to deliver insights on sales performance, target setting, pipeline health, capacity planning, and hiring outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a solid grasp of SaaS business models and sales processes, and the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Design, generate, and distribute regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards that provide clear and concise insights into sales performance trends, highlighting areas of opportunity and risk.
- Collaborate with RevOps and Sales leadership to develop and refine sales targets based on historical data, market trends, and strategic objectives, and analyze the impact of different target-setting methodologies.
- Conduct in-depth analyses to identify sales efficiency and inefficiency drivers. Provide recommendations for process improvements, resource allocation, and strategic initiatives to maximize sales output.
- Assist in the design and administration of quota management and sales efficiency by territory. Analyze performance and provide recommendations for optimization for the territory management.
- Develop metrics and analyses to evaluate the efficiency of the sales recruitment process, including time-to-hire, terminations, cost-per-hire, and the performance of new hires over time.
- Serve as a trusted finance business partner to the Sales leadership team, participate in business reviews, provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and participate in cross-functional projects as needed to support the overall growth and profitability of the company
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration – required; Master’s degree – an advantage.
- Proven experience as a Senior Finance Business Partner, Senior RevOps Analyst, or similar role within the SaaS industry – required.
- Demonstrated experience working closely with sales organizations – required.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in analyzing large datasets.
- Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards and their application to SaaS businesses.
- Understanding of key SaaS metrics (CAC, retention, renewal rate, churn rate, ACV, MRR, ARR, etc.) and their impact on the financial health of the business.
- Proficient in using SQL, Python, or other relevant data analysis tools.
- Expert in using BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to create impactful data visualizations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
