Key Responsibilities:

Manufacturing Excellence:

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes, including parameter optimization and cost reduction
• Yield management – continuous monitoring and improvement
• Lead quality-based failure investigations and yield analysis
• NPI processes – full responsibility for project transition from development to production

Technical Leadership:

• Engineering documentation and organizational knowledge preservation
• Application engineering – ensure product-customer requirements alignment
• Plan and implement manufacturing fixtures, tools, and engineering aids for quality and efficiency improvement
• Develop and enhance manufacturing technologies and processes

Operations Management:

• Oversee factory automation systems – development and maintenance
• Manage electronic support systems for product components
• Coordinate subcontractors as needed
• Conduct experiments – performance research and product lifecycle analysis

Quality & Compliance:

• Ensure regulatory standards compliance and quality requirements
• Lead team management and development, fostering professional engineering excellence in each team member's domain

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

• 5+ years of management experience in manufacturing engineering within an industrial facility, managing team leaders
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electronics Engineering (Master's degree preferred)
• Proven experience in: yield improvement processes, development-to-production transfer (NPI), complex failure investigations, statistical data analysis, process control, and leading product change processes

Preferred Experience:

• Design and materials experience
• Engineering management experience with multidisciplinary integrated mechanical and electronic products/systems
• Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
• Experience in defense industry companies
