What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from various sources (ERP systems, eCommerce platforms, APIs, files, and more).
• Develop and optimize data lakes and cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Azure Synapse, Snowflake).
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver clean, well-modeled datasets.
• Implement automated data quality checks, validation routines, and cleansing procedures to ensure high data integrity.
• Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot failures or delays to keep systems running smoothly.
• Contribute to best practices, including schema standardization, documentation, and reusable pipeline patterns.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or data platform development.
• Strong command of SQL/PLSQL and experience working with structured and semi-structured data (CSV, Parquet, JSON, APIs).
• Proven experience building and maintaining pipelines using tools/frameworks such as ADF, SSIS, dbt, or Airflow.
• Familiarity with cloud data warehouse platforms (Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Bonus Points For

• Proficiency in Python or scripting languages.
• Experience working with Azure or AWS, and familiarity with streaming tools (Kafka, Spark Streaming, etc.).
• Background in retail, eCommerce, or omni-channel data environments.
