Production Planning Control

Job Description: Production Planning Clerk (PPC)

Position Summary:

Providing technical and administrative support according to project and customer requirements.

Reports To:

Project Manager

Areas of Responsibility and Authority:

1. Monitoring and tracking shortages for the production floor
2. Managing shortages with procurement and warehouse teams, including handling of unbalanced inventory
3. Maintaining and updating work orders
4. Performing material simulations and approving delivery dates
5. Full understanding of production processes
6. Direct communication with customers
7. Opening and managing work orders
8. Providing answers regarding delivery times and making decisions accordingly
9. Managing customer needs with internal departments
10. Setting supply timelines with production
11. Pricing and processing customer orders
12. Troubleshooting issues that may affect deliveries
13. Ongoing support to the production department

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management – Mandatory
• Task-oriented, determined, goal-driven, and proactive
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
• Strong understanding of operational workflows
• Ability to work with multiple interfaces (Engineering, Quality, PPC, Procurement, Assemblies)
• Ability to perform under pressure
• High level of responsibility, reliability, and personal maturity
