Cloud FinOps Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced and driven FinOps persona to join a newly established FinOps Engineering role within our Client R&D group.

You'll play a key part in optimizing cloud spend, driving cost-saving initiatives, and bridging finance with engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and monitor cloud usage, identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Provide reports and insights on cloud spend, trends, and variances.
• Translate technical data into financial impact and recommendations.
• Collaborate with DevOps to optimize infrastructure and automation (IaC, CI/CD).
• Implement best practices in FinOps, ensure compliance, and cost transparency.
• Maintain documentation of processes and continuous improvements.

Requirements:

• 3+ years in cloud cost management, budgeting, or FinOps roles.
• Strong grasp of financial analysis and accounting principles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure (must), and FinOps tools (e.g., Anodot, CloudHealth).
• Understanding of DevOps, IaC (Terraform a plus), CI/CD, and automation workflows.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work cross-functionally.
• Eager to learn, adapt, and stay current with FinOps & DevOps best practices.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and self-learning skills.
• Strong task and time management abilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field (MBA a plus).
• 3+ years working with cloud platforms and DevOps environments (advantage).
