A leading defense company in Northern Israel is seeking a Cyber Security Architect specializing in networks and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and enforcement of cybersecurity policies across IT systems.
• Oversee and monitor the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks and computers.
• Design and manage enterprise security architecture.
• Align with international cybersecurity standards and best practices.
• Participate in cyber incident response across all network environments, including cloud infrastructure and stand-alone systems.

Requirements:

• BSc in Engineering / Computer Science – advantage.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in IT/SECOPS – must.
• Proven experience in designing, managing, and maintaining network infrastructure.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar.
• Strong proficiency in Active Directory administration.
• Experience in hardening Windows environments – major advantage. Linux – preferred.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure security and identity management.
• Experience with cloud monitoring and management tools.
• Familiarity with SIEM systems and incident handling.
• Knowledge of Israeli security standards or background in a relevant military/defense unit – advantage.
• Experience writing technical specifications and engineering-level documentation – advantage.
• Background in IT and cybersecurity architecture design – major advantage.
• Proven experience drafting policies, standards, and procedures – major advantage.
• Understanding of supply chain security – advantage.
• Software development skills in Node.js, C, C++, Java, Python – advantage.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite – must.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and high service orientation – must.
