DevOps Engineer

Hey there! We’re Findings, a fast-moving startup building the next generation of supply chain risk monitoring. We’re on the lookout for a DevOps Engineer who’s excited to take ownership of our cloud infrastructure, streamline deployments, and make sure our systems hum along smoothly (or yell at us when they don’t!).

What you’ll be doing:

• Own our AWS setup – You’ll manage and optimize our AWS resources, ensuring they’re reliable, secure, and cost-effective.
• Take charge of our CI/CD pipeline—automate, deploy, and help us ship faster (without breaking things). We’re all about smooth releases with as little downtime as possible.
• Keep us in the loop – You’ll set up and manage our alerting/monitoring systems. When things go sideways, you’ll know first—and ideally, how to fix them fast.
• Collaborate with our product and engineering teams to ensure infrastructure plays nicely with the code we ship.

About you

• You’ve worked with AWS in production environments and know your way around EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, and friends.
• You’ve built and maintained CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitoring and alerting aren’t just buzzwords to you—tools like CloudWatch and Datadog are part of your toolbox.
• You enjoy finding ways to automate repetitive tasks and make life easier for the team.
• Comfortable in a startup environment: things move fast, and we like people who take initiative and are cool with figuring things out as they go.

Nice-to-haves (but not deal-breakers)

• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, etc.)
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with monolith-to-microservices migration
