Senior Research Associate

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Research Associate to join our dynamic R&D team. This role is critical in advancing our mitochondrial infusion platform and supporting the development of analytical methods, manufacturing technologies, and functional assays. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cell biology, method development, and cellular assays, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

·     Develop, validate, and optimize analytical methods for mitochondrial product characterization across the manufacturing lifecycle.

·     Perform isolation, purification, and quality assessment of cellular organelles, particularly mitochondria.

·     Lead the development and execution of cell-based functional assays to evaluate mitochondrial performance and compatibility.

·     Culture and expand various human and patient-derived cells, including large-scale bioreactor-based processes.

·     Participate in technology transfer activities, including method transfer and data exchange with external partners.

·     Design, execute, troubleshoot, and interpret complex biological experiments.

·     Maintain rigorous laboratory documentation, experimental protocols, and regulatory records.

·     Collaborate cross-functionally with bioinformatics, engineering, and clinical teams to support product development.

·     M.Sc. or higher in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Cell Biology, or a related discipline.

·     Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.

·     Demonstrated experience with method development and analytical characterization.

·     Proficiency in mammalian cell culture, including stem cells or primary patient-derived cells.

·     Strong background in mitochondrial biology or cellular energy systems is a significant advantage.

·     High attention to detail, scientific rigor, and strong problem-solving capabilities.

·     Effective communication and documentation skills.
