About the Position:

As Director of engineering you will own the development and delivery of Dataloop’s high scale, multidisciplinary data platform for AI developers.

• Lead, manage and mentor an engineering department with 4 software teams, DevOps and QA
• Promote a culture of innovation, ownership, execution and excellence.
• Align technology and delivery with Dataloop’s business goals by collaborating closely with the CTO office, Product, AI Engineering and Go-To-Market.
• Lead by example of excellence, taking a hands-on approach to problem-solving technical oversight.

Requirements:

Required Technical Skills:

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and lead teams to success.
• 5+ years of experience in senior R&D leadership roles for high-tech software development
• 10+ years of experience as a Software Developer with strong hands-on experience with Node.js, React, Vue.js
• 3+ years of experience of designing, developing, and maintaining of data-intensive or high-scale applications
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and scalable system design
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
