Data Engineer

Zap Group, one of Israel’s leading digital consumer platforms, is looking for a Data Engineer to lay the foundation for our future. In this strategic role, you’ll be responsible for building our complete data infrastructure from the ground up — setting the standards, tools, and processes that will power data-driven decision-making across the entire organization.

This is more than just a technical role — it’s a chance to create real business value through data, influence how teams operate, and shape the company’s ability to grow, scale, and lead in a competitive market.

What you'll do:

• Design and implement enterprise-level data infrastructure across all business domains
• Work with a modern tech stack: Azure Cloud, Snowflake, Oracle
• Build advanced dashboards and visualizations in Power BI
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and SQL
• Drive data accessibility and visibility across cross-functional teams
• Partner with BI, product, marketing, sales, and executive leadership to generate actionable insights from complex data

Who you are:

• You bring 3+ years of experience in data engineering roles
• You’re fluent in Python, SQL, and Power BI, and experienced with Azure and Snowflake
• You know your way around Oracle databases
• You’re excited by the opportunity to build something from scratch — and take full ownership of it
• You understand that great data infrastructure isn’t just about tech — it’s about enabling smarter decisions, faster
