Role Summary

The CFO will lead and oversee all financial functions of the company and its U.S. subsidiaries. This includes financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, audits, and legal and transactional oversight. The CFO is a key executive team member, reporting directly to the CEO and playing a strategic role in the decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Management & Reporting

• Full responsibility for the company’s financial operations, including U.S. subsidiaries.
• Preparation of consolidated financial statements and management reports.
• Oversight of financial reporting systems and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

2. Team & Stakeholder Management

• Manage the finance team in Israel, including controllers and bookkeepers.
• Liaison with external auditors, legal advisors, and consultants in Israel and the U.S.
• Oversight of the payroll department and purchasing processes.

3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow

• Responsible for budget control and cash flow management.
• Build and monitor financial forecasts, including scenario planning and risk analysis, to inform strategic decisions.
• Implement and oversee financial reporting and forecasting tools to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information.

4. Compliance & Controls

• Ensure that reporting aligns with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP) and public company standards.
• Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness.

5. Real Estate Transactions & Legal Involvement

• Active involvement in commercial and legal aspects of real estate deals.
• Evaluate and support complex transactions from a financial and compliance standpoint.

6. Strategic Finance & Executive Reporting

• Strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership.
• Provide insights and analysis to support business decisions.
• Present financial reports and KPIs to owners and the executive team.

7. Project & Operations Oversight

• Lead finance-related project management and finance operations (FinOps).
• Drive initiatives to optimize financial processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Mandatory (Big Four background preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in senior financial management roles, including at least 3 years as CFO or equivalent.
• Experience with the U.S. market – Advantage.
• High-level English fluency (written and spoken) – Mandatory.
• Experience in multinational or public companies – Required.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Experience working with NetSuite, Salesforce, and QuickBooks systems.
