Role Description

The Aeronautical Engineer will lead various aerospace engineering tasks and projects for fixed-wing VTOL UAS and drones, including:

Aeronautical design, propulsion and energy systems design
Field experiments, including flight performance planning and analysis.
Engineering justification documents on aeronautical subjects.
Development and calibration of flight control circuits for tracking, ballistics etc.

This is a full-time, on-site role in the Emek Hefer Industrial Park.

Requirements

Aeronautical Engineer
At least 5 years' experience in flight sciences: aerodynamics, simulations, flight control
Experience in aerodynamic design - preferably in the field of VTOL UAS
Knowledge of flow calculation tools such as CFD
Experience in validating aerodynamic models from flight tests using Model Identification tools such as CIFER

Advantages

Familiarity with flight control algorithms
Development experience in C/C++ or Python
Skilled working with Matlab/Simulink
Previous experience integration systems such as IMU, GPS, navigation cameras, etc.
