Senior Legal Counsel

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our legal team. This role is ideal for a dynamic attorney with a strong background in capital markets, securities regulation, and commercial law, who is ready to take a key legal position in a fast-paced and evolving environment. The ideal candidate will have gained their experience at a leading law firm or major financial institution (such as a bank).

Your Day-to-Day:

• Provide legal advice on matters relating to capital markets, securities, and corporate governance
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements
• Ensure ongoing compliance with securities regulations corporate law requirements and the Banking Regulation
• Collaborate closely with business, finance, compliance, and executive teams
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the organization
• Support internal processes and documentation related to financial reporting and disclosures
• Support other legal issues as required from time to time
  
  

• Licensed attorney with at least 5 years of experience in legal practice
• Proven experience in capital market, and securities law, and regulation – mandatory
• Background from a leading law firm or financial institution – mandatory
• Vast experience in contract drafting and negotiation – mandatory
• Business-oriented mindset with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
