- Design of optical imaging and illumination systems in the visible spectrum. Performing computer simulations and identifying undesired optical phenomena (ghosts, stray lights).
- Engineering responsibility for the optical design from concept to prototype.
- Defining manufacturing specifications for optical components and assemblies.
- Working with various engineering teams, especially material and mechanical designers.
- B.Sc. in Electro-Optical Engineering or Physics
- M.Sc.- Must
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of geometric and physical optics.
- Experience with optical systems.
- Proficiency with optical design software such as Zemax, LightTools, CODE V, TracePro – a big advantage.
- Strong and proven programming skills in MATLAB, Phyton.
- Hebrew and English – high-level reading and writing.
