Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible individual to join our team as a US Tax Preparer. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing US tax returns (Form 1040) for American clients residing in Israel. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. No prior tax preparation experience is required - we provide comprehensive training.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare US tax returns (Form 1040) accurately and efficiently using organized and translated client information that has been pre-collected and vetted by our team.
- Enter client data into our tax software (Drake or internal system) according to established guidelines and procedures.
- Apply knowledge of US tax regulations related to deductions, credits, and reporting requirements (FEIE, FTC, CTC, etc.) to ensure accurate return preparation.
- Perform a final review of each tax return before submitting it to the client for signature, ensuring all information is complete and accurate.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, manage your workload, and take ownership of your responsibilities.
- Experience using digital systems and software (preferred).
- Strong proficiency in both English and Hebrew, enabling you to understand field names, instructions, and tax documents.
