Lawyer

We are looking for a qualified lawyer who earned their law degree in Germany and is fluent in both German and English to join a Tel Aviv-based tech startup!

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in contract law and commercial negotiations, preferably with a background or interest in real estate and technology sectors. This role will be integral in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with our German-speaking clients and partners, ensuring legal compliance and fostering trusted relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, particularly with clients and partners in German-speaking markets.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks, obligations, and strategy in contractual matters.
• Support the sales and business development teams during deal structuring and client negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with German and EU legal standards relevant to the company’s operations.
• Liaise with external counsel as needed.
• Maintain and update contract templates and legal documentation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, operations, and finance.

Requirements:

• Law degree from a recognized university in Germany; admission to practice law in Germany is a strong advantage.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
• 3+ years of experience in contract law, preferably in a commercial or tech-focused environment.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international setting.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Experience with real estate or real estate technology is a plus.
