SecOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced SecOps Engineer to Join a stable, dynamic, and growing technological company in the financial sector and take part in the development of the national credit card infrastructure of the State of Israel.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage and maintain firewalls, implement security policies, and handle VPN connections for clients and internal users.
• Operate and secure DDoS protection systems (infrastructure and application level: WAF, IPS).
• Manage and harden Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions.
• Operate and manage communication and information security solutions within the GCP cloud environment.
• Conduct regular system checks and technology upgrades to maintain optimal security.
• Collaborate with IT and information security teams to resolve issues and improve systems.

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of experience in information security operations – mandatory
• Experience operating information security products (Firewalls, IPS/IDS, DLP, WAF, Mail Relay, Proxy, NAC) – mandatory
• Hands-on experience with EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, Carbon Black) – mandatory
• Strong understanding and analysis of information security incidents, including denial-of-service prevention.
• Experience in architecture characterization and documentation (HLD, LLD, RFP, RFI, SOW).
• Proven track record in leading communication and information security infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in traffic monitoring tools (Tcpdump, Wireshark, Suricata, Snort).
• Experience with security solutions in GCP cloud environments – significant advantage
• Experience with vault management solutions (GoAnywhere, CyberArk) – advantage
• Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP) – advantage
