Atlassian Platform Administrator

We are looking for an Atlassian Platform Administrator to join our HR & Mobile Applications Team as a temporary 1 year maternity leave (MLA) replacement, who has a passion for collaboration tools, process optimization, and IT service management, who has a desire to streamline workflows, improve user experience, and ensure the successful implementation and management of Atlassian tools like Jira, Jira Service Desk, and Confluence.

We use an interesting and mixed technology stack: Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence (Wiki), and integrations with various internal systems and third-party tools.

In this position you will use your expertise in leading IT projects, managing stakeholder expectations, and configuring Atlassian tools, and will drive the implementation and continuous improvement of Jira-based workflows, manage Jira Service Desk projects, maintain documentation in Wiki, and ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions aligned with business needs.

Major Responsibilities

• Design, build and manage our Atlassian ecosystem in order to optimize project management, service delivery, and internal collaboration across teams.
• Get experience with Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence, develop custom workflows, automations, and integrations, and have a great opportunity to grow and create impact.
• Work with product managers, business stakeholders, and other teams at Check Point to gather requirements, provide solutions, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve the performance, usability, and scalability of the Atlassian tools to meet evolving business needs.

Desired Background

• B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering / Information Systems. Graduate with Honors
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience managing Atlassian tools in a global company including Jira Service Desk, Jira and Wiki
• Good understanding of business processes (esp. service, content management).
• Excellent analytical & communication skills with business orientation & high customer service awareness
• Leader, dynamic with ability to learn autonomously and drive execution without authority
• Team player spirit!

It would be great if you also have:

• Basic programming skills in HTML and JavaScript.
