Bioinformatician
Join a dynamic, research-driven group working at the intersection of computational biology, clinical research, and molecular biology. Based at Sheba Medical Center, in the Cancer Research Center, our projects span transcriptomics, epigenomics, long-read sequencing, and rare disease variant analysis. Our team collaborates across academia, clinical institutions, and international consortia.
You will join a growing bioinformatics group that builds and utilizes AI models and develops advanced computational tools to drive innovation in translational medicine. We work closely with both clinicians and researchers, actively designing methods that help bridge the gap between basic science and clinical application.

🎓 Qualifications- MSc or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field
- Proficiency in Python, R, and bash scripting
- Experience in RNA-Seq and DNA methylation analysis
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with Oxford Nanopore sequencing
- Experience with protein modeling tools (e.g., AlphaFold, FoldX)
- Experience with workflow tools like Snakemake or Nextflow
