Role Description

This is a contract based role with the potential to become a full-time for the Head Developer Relations position at BackBone. The Head Developer Relations will be responsible for leading and managing developer outreach and community engagement initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include creating and executing developer engagement strategies, organizing developer events and meetups, building and maintaining relationships with developers, and acting as a liaison between internal teams and the developer community. The role also involves creating technical content, providing support to developers, and gathering feedback to improve products and services.

Qualifications

• Experience in creating and executing developer engagement strategies and organizing events
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with developers
• Technical content creation, developer support, and feedback collection experience
• Proficiency in programming languages and development tools relevant to the company's technology stack
• Leadership and team management experience
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders
• Passion for technology and developer communities
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience in the tech industry and developer relations is a plus
