About the role

In this role, you will take technical ownership of the Compliance domain within our platform. The Compliance solution allows our customers to audit their cloud environments and ensures adherence to common compliance frameworks.

As the Technical Leader, you will play a key role in designing, architecting, and scaling our Compliance domain’s backend systems. Additionally, you will mentor mid-level engineers and guide complex projects to successful execution.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about Cloud Security, Compliance, and leading engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

On a typical day you’ll

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of backend systems and APIs within the Compliance domain
• Architect scalable solutions to process cloud inventory data, alerts, and calculate compliance results
• Collaborate with product management to translate requirements into robust technical solutions that address real customer needs
• Mentor and coach mid-level developers, fostering their growth and ensuring technical excellence
• Drive the adoption of best practices in coding, testing, and deployment across the team
• Write code that meets the production requirements and design specifications, and anticipate potential errors / issues
• Stay up to date with emerging cloud security and compliance standards and drive their implementation within the product

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• 7+ years of software development experience
• Solid experience working with microservice architecture and cloud-native services
• Strong understanding of software design principles, concurrency, synchronization, memory management, data structures, and algorithms
• Hands-on experience with databases such as SingleStore, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis
• Prior experience with Python
• Knowledge of Cyber Security or Compliance domains is an advantage
