Company Description
The Endgame is a rapidly-growing podcast made for Israeli founders and startups navigating the path to mergers and acquisitions and their aftermath. The show explores how transactions go wrong or right and features guests who have the power to make or break deals, offering unique insights from behind the scenes. Our episodes bring you perspectives from industry insiders who often remain unknown to founders, but are crucial to the M&A process.
Role Description
This is a project-based remote contractor job. The right Editor for us will be responsible for partnering with Sophia Tupolev-Luz, the producer, on every episode to ensure a flawless show is published on time, every time. In this role, you will be given a high degree of direction and guidance as to the content that needs to be there, but you also need to bring your own judgment and good taste to the table, particularly for social clips. Naturally, you will be credited for your work in our materials.
Workflow:
You will need to sync our audio to video tracks and provide them to us. After that, you will receive a rough cut of the show content, and will need to do everything from color correction, audio editing, creating minor animations, adding subtitles provided to you, uploading to a collaborative feedback tool like Frame.io, then receiving feedback and implementing it in a timely fashion, and providing final show files suitable for Spotify, Youtube, Apple Podcasts, etc, as well as social clips of the show.
Qualifications
- Impeccable taste
- Highly skilled in video and audio editing
- Highly creative and resourceful
- Fluent in Hebrew and professional English
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with podcasting and the financial or tech industry is a plus
