Director of Assets – Israel

A leading public renewable energy company, traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange since 2008, is seeking a Director of Assets to oversee the commercial success and operational management of its revenue-generating sites in Israel, including wind, photovoltaic (PV), and energy storage facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the performance and strategic development of operational renewable energy sites across Israel.
- Manage a team of professionals, including setting annual work plans and budgets.
- Oversee substantial income and expenditure budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and optimization.
- Monitor site activities, identify technological advancements, and implement solutions to maximize electricity generation metrics.
- Facilitate the transition of facilities from construction to operational phases.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with service providers, including contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Maintain relationships with business partners, financial institutions, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial covenants and manage project financing agreements.
- Oversee safety programs and information security measures across all facilities.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Management, Economics, or Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in financial management and business operations within technological sectors.
- Proven leadership experience, including team management.
- Strategic and business-oriented mindset with a track record of initiating and advancing projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- High-level proficiency in English (spoken, read, and written).
