Global Supply Chain Planner

Job Description

• Monitoring the production sites material planning and inventory levels according to company's strategy.
• Manage, monitor, and minimize risks that could affect or interrupt the supply chain, Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner.
• Manage strategic production capacity at Arkal sites.
• Manage Supply Chain activities and purchasing planning during NPI process, deep involvement & support for new projects until serial production.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Capacity Management:

• Responsible for Capacity analysis and planning for the global productions sites. Adjust and maintain capacity tools in order to check and confirm capacity feasibility in RFQ phase and assure sufficient capacity throughout Project life.

• Data Analysis of different data sources (forecast, equipment and production parameters) for future production planning.

• Focal point for capacity issues in front of Arkal Customers- Automotive OEM and Tier 1.
• Learning and understanding Customers requirements and procedures, and maintain tools and applications for capacity management accordingly.

Material Management:

• Monitor purchasing plan generated by Arkal production sites in order to identify gaps and proactively respond to ensure timely and orderly material flow.

• Strive for Inventory optimization, reduce slow inventory, reduce excess/surplus inventory through targeted inventory management.

• Support Site's team with adjusted planning over engineering changes, product line extensions, end of production, and new product launches.

• Supports proper utilization of ERP system: MRP Parameters accuracy and qualitative results, which supports the defined inventory policy.

Education, Experience & Skills

• Industrial Engineering or Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Supply Chain/Economics/Logistics, or Industrial Practical Engineering, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience as Key Account manager/Supply Chain planner/ Logistics/ Purchasing.
• Experience in a global company – an advantage
• Fluent in English– written and spoken.
• Experience in working with ERP systems (knowledge in Priority - advantage).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office – especially Excel.
