CAF, a global leader in railway systems, is seeking a hands-on and reliable Site Coordinator to oversee the delivery, installation, and handover of workshop equipment for the light rail depot in Jerusalem.
The role includes daily coordination with suppliers and the client, ensuring the work is completed safely, on time, and to specification. Ideal for someone with experience in mechanical systems and infrastructure projects.
Functions And Tasks
- Review and verify the workshop’s civil works against equipment requirements.
- Coordinate any required changes to civil works to allow proper installation and operation of equipment.
- Track equipment installation timelines and ensure completion as agreed.
- Prepare and deliver equipment documentation to the client.
- Follow and enforce CAF procedures, including the Code of Conduct and purchasing standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar (postgraduate degree is a plus).
- Basic certification in Occupational Risk Prevention (construction sector).
- Proven experience with railway workshops or complex machinery installation.
- Native Hebrew speaker with good English (B2 level or equivalent).
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (equipment and civil).
- Strong coordination, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and decision-making confidence.
- Organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Flexibility to work on-site and attend meetings with European teams.
- Valid driver's license.
