What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and implement end-to-end algorithms that address customer needs while ensuring robustness and reliability during edge cases and under technological and real-world constraints.
• Continuously refine and optimize existing algorithms to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct in-depth literature research and assess cutting-edge methodologies, identifying and integrating the most suitable solutions for our system.
• Proactively propose and develop new features, methods, optimizations, and improvements. 
• Collaborate closely with Rust developers.

What You Must Bring

✅ 3+ years of hands-on experience developing computer vision algorithms, with strong foundations in classical techniques and additional experience in deep learning.

✅ B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (advanced degrees are a plus).

✅ Deep understanding of camera models, spatial anchoring, image projection in 2D & 3D, lens distortion corrections, and classical image processing techniques.

✅ Proficiency in Python for algorithm development.

✅ Experience in real-time sensor fusion, integrating data from multiple sources (IR, RGB, geospatial information).

Bonus Points

➕ Knowledge or experience with GIS systems and geospatial data.

➕ Knowledge or experience with Drones / Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).

➕ Knowledge or experience in developing and running physics-based simulations.

➕ Knowledge or experience in Rust / C++ / C.

Technical Details

• We are an early-stage startup, and at this stage, the role does not include a salary. 
• The role requires a full-time commitment and cannot be combined with another job.
• The role is currently remote, but we anticipate transitioning to an on-site work model in the near future. Candidates should be prepared for this shift as the company progresses.
