Job Description
The NPI Engineer serves as a key person between R&D and manufacturing, supports continuous improvement of processes, and responsible to lead our product engineering activities, including the transfer of products from development stage to pre-production and full-scale production phase. The role includes preparation of engineering documentation, technical and assembly drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and management of engineering changes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead structured and controlled processes for transferring products from development to production.
- Create and maintain engineering Bill of Materials (BOM) throughout the product lifecycle.
- Prepare assembly and technical drawings.
- Execute, document, and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECO), including updating drawing packages and documentation.
- Update production drawings in accordance with design or manufacturing changes (corrections, improvements, new versions, etc.)
- Prepare and write technical assembly instructions including work stages, tools, etc.
- Apply DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturing/Assembly) principles.
- Prepare complete product documentation including specifications, drawings, assembly drawings, test instructions, etc.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or other Engineering degree.
- 2–5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in creating technical drawings, updating production drawings, and preparing documentation.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Experience with PLM/ERP systems (Priority – an advantage).
- Experience in managing engineering changes (ECO), including version control and documentation.
- High-level technical English, both written and verbal.
