Devops Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Team Lead to manage and technically lead a team of five DevOps engineers. This role includes responsibility for designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, and contributing to system architecture within a secured on-premises environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of 5 DevOps engineers in a hands-on tech leadership role.
• Lead the team to leverage the team's deliverables and achieve strategic company goals.
• Be a member of the group's management team.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, QA, IT, and SysAdmin teams across multiple projects and be responsible for provide technical solutions for the teams.
• Bring innovative ideas to improve DevOps workflows and introduce new tools and practices.
• Take part in architectural planning and infrastructure strategy.
• Active involvement in Agile ceremonies and cross-functional projects.
• Manage on-prem infrastructure in Linux and OpenShift environments.
• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and Ansible.
• Develop infrastructure automation scripts using Bash and Python.
• Own monitoring and observability with Prometheus and Grafana.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience, including 2+ years in a tech/people leadership role.
• Excellent people skills and strong ability to drive engagement of peers and managers.
• Strategic mindset with a can-do attitude and creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of software development, lifecycles and Agile environments.
• Deep expertise in Linux and OpenShift environments.
• Strong CI/CD background – GitLab & Ansible in particular.
• Scripting proficiency in Bash and Python.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and observability tools.
• Experience in secure, air-gapped, or on-prem environments.
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.
• Experience managing hybrid or multi-cloud infrastructures.
