Development Team Lead

We are looking for a talented Backend Team Leader to join our success.

You will lead a critical team in our engineering organization and charge Stream.

Security’s critical path, emphasizing performance to near-real-time levels on posture and changes, is pivotal in defining and implementing cutting-edge features and technologies.

What You'll Do:

As a Backend Team Leader, you will be instrumental in designing and delivering scalable, high-quality posture analysis and maintenance across our critical path stack. You’ll play a key role in technical decision-making and leading complex projects from concept to release.

• Take full ownership and accountability of new requirements by defining the need with our PMs, designing and implementing scalable solutions.

• Build, improve, and maintain core components for modelling cloud infrastructure environments and components (compute, security, networking, K8S).

• Push the solutions to large-scale production systems. Understand the architectural constraints of such systems and work with a cross-organizational engineering and product team to quickly transition from prototype to a scalable, robust implementation.

• Track the development process and assume full ownership and accountability over product delivery, quality, production monitoring, and timelines.

• Design strategies for future development projects based on the company's objectives and resources.

• Constantly mentor and grow the team members by providing feedback and opportunities for learning and improvement.

Requirements

• Management experience of at least 2 years

• 7+ years in software development, primarily in a SaaS environment that uses Agile methodologies (some of the years – Python)

• Understanding of infrastructure beyond coding (compute, security, networking)

• Strong background in cloud architecture, implementation, and delivery of large-scale systems in real-world situations.

• Working with different databases (SQL, NoSQL, graph)

• Hands-on experience in at least one of the leading cloud providers: AWS, GCP, Azure.

• Experience in designing and building scalable server-side applications

• Strong software design and architectural skills, ensuring the development of scalable solutions aligned with business goals.

• Excellent communication skills, committed to transparency and alignment with immediate and long-term objectives.
