We are an innovative defense and homeland security company expanding into the U.S. market, seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our U.S. operations.
Role Overview:As General Manager, you will be our first “boots on the ground” for the U.S. operation, spearheading our market presence with a focus on business development, marketing, and sales. This is a strategic leadership role for someone passionate about establishing a new footprint and driving growth in a competitive, mission-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities:• Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy in the U.S.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the defense and homeland security sectors.
• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and customers.
• Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer engagements.
• Lead the sales process from prospecting through negotiation and closing.
• Collaborate closely with global HQ teams to ensure marketing, product alignment, and operational support.
Ideal Candidate Profile:• Proven track record in business development and sales, preferably in the defense and HLS sectors.
• Over 5 years of marketing and sales experience within the U.S. defense and HLS sector.
• A total of 8+ years in marketing and sales roles.
• Previous experience with a defense-related company is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement marketing strategies and budgets.
• Experience in opening new markets and managing the complete business cycle through to deal closure.
• Strong network within the U.S. government, Department of Defense (DoD), or related industries is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and drive results.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines under pressure.
• Team player with a dynamic, open-minded, and dedicated approach.
• Based in the U.S. with flexibility to travel as needed.
