Your Role:

As a Data Team Leader, you will lead a talented team responsible for all aspects of data management, including database architecture, query optimization, security protocols, and ETL processes for our backend platform. You will be pivotal in defining strategic directions while ensuring operational excellence, scalability, and efficiency of our data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a small team of data professionals.
• Design, implement, and enhance databases and data-related systems.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and monitoring across all platforms.
• Develop and maintain robust ETL frameworks.
• Optimize query performance while managing extensive data pipelines.
• Collaborate across teams to align data strategies with business goals.
• Engage in hands-on coding and technical problem-solving.

Tech Stack:

• AWS | Snowflake | PostgreSQL | SQS | Java | Python

Mandatory Requirements:

• Over 3 years of experience managing a team of at least two members.
• Minimum of 5 years in data engineering, including ETL processes and diverse data engines.
• At least 3 years as a backend engineer specializing in microservices.
• Proven experience working with billions of records.
• 1+ years of hands-on development experience in Java.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in startup environments.

כמנהל/ת צוות נתונים, תהיו אחראים להובלת צוות מוכשר המטפל בכל היבטי ניהול הנתונים, כולל ארכיטקטורת מסדי נתונים, אופטימיזציית שאילתות, אבטחה ותהליכי ETL לפלטפורמת ה-Backend שלנו. אתם תהוו גורם מפתח בקביעת הכיוונים האסטרטגיים תוך שמירה על מצוינות תפעולית, יכולת הרחבה ויעילות של תשתית הנתונים שלנו.

תחומי אחריות עיקריים:

• הובלה והנחייה של צוות קטן של מומחי נתונים.
• עיצוב, יישום ושיפור מסדי נתונים ומערכות נתונים.
• הבטחת אבטחת נתונים, עמידה ברגולציה ומעקב שוטף.
• פיתוח ותחזוקה של מערכות ETL חזקות.
• שיפור ביצועי שאילתות וניהול צינורות נתונים רחבי היקף.
• שיתוף פעולה עם צוותים שונים כדי ליישר אסטרטגיות נתונים לצורכי החברה.
• מעורבות בקידוד פעיל ופתרון אתגרים טכניים מורכבים.

דרישות חובה:

• למעלה מ-3 שנות ניסיון בניהול צוות של לפחות שני חברים.
• מינימום 5 שנות ניסיון בהנדסת נתונים כולל תהליכי ETL ומנועי נתונים שונים.
• לפחות 3 שנות ניסיון ב-Backend עם התמקדות במיקרו-שירותים.
• ניסיון מוכח בעבודה עם מיליארדים של רשומות.
• מעל שנה ניסיון בפיתוח ב-Java.
