Product Owner

Spot Ocean (now part of Flexera) is looking for an Product Owner to help us execute product strategy and accelerate the adoption of containers in the cloud.

As a Product Owner, you will own the execution of our product roadmap in front of outbound product manager, engineering, design, marketing, support, documentation and other teams within Spot. You will be in charge of feature definition, prioritization, planning, coordination and release of the Ocean product.

Job Requirements

• 4+ years of inbound product management experience in the cloud computing (AWS/GCP/Azure) technology space
• BS or BA in computer science, engineering or math.
• Demonstrated success working on complex software solutions delivery, including specification writing, closely working with engineers and follow up execution.
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in Software development or DevOps philosophy.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence others and work effectively in a cross-functional team
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with scheduling and cluster management technologies such as Docker, Azure ACI, GKE Autopilot/Fargate/Kubernetes/Docker Swarm/AWS ECS/Hashicorp Nomad etc.
• Experience with Cloud Computing.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a track record for delivering results in fast-moving environments.
