Sefaria is a nonprofit organization focused on creating the future of Torah in an open and participatory manner. They are building a free, living library of Jewish texts and their interconnections, in Hebrew and translation. Sefaria utilizes digital texts to develop new, interactive interfaces for Web and mobile platforms, enabling more individuals to engage with Jewish tradition.

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Product Designer at Sefaria. The Product Designer will be involved in designing and developing user interfaces for digital platforms. The role is based in West Jerusalem with some flexibility for remote work. Responsibilities include enhancing the user experience, conducting user research, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and iterating on designs based on feedback.

• UI/UX Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design skills
• Experience in user research and usability testing
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript is a plus
• Experience working in a nonprofit or educational setting is beneficial
