This is one of the most influential product roles at Viber. As Director of Product for our Core Unit, you’ll lead the product experiences that drive the majority of Viber’s global usage. Messaging, communication, and everyday interactions for millions of users around the world.

We’re looking for a product leader who thrives in B2C, has a deep understanding of product growth, and knows how to build for scale. You’ll be responsible not just for world-class execution, but for setting a bold, clear strategy and product vision that shapes how hundreds of millions of users interact with Viber every day.

This leadership position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in product management, and the ability to lead and inspire a cross-functional team towards success.

Responsibilities:

Own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution of Viber’s core experiences (e.g., messaging, calls, media sharing and more)

Define and deliver a product vision that balances user needs, business growth, and market differentiation

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing product managers

Drive usage, retention, and user satisfaction through data-driven experimentation and innovation

Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Analytics to ship impactful features at speed

Represent the core unit at the leadership level, influencing company-wide priorities and product direction

Requirements:

• 8+ years in product management, including significant leadership roles in B2C products
• Proven success in driving product growth and user engagement at scale
• A strategic thinker with strong execution instincts—able to zoom out to the vision and zoom in on the details
• Experience leading high-performing, cross-functional product teams
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across functions and levels
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing product strategies that drive business growth, specifically within the context of messaging applications
• Experience in data analysis and utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) for monitoring product performance and user engagement
• Ability to collaborate, solve ambiguous problems, and outside of the box thinking
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or Ph.D. in a technology or business-related field is a plus
• Bonus: experience in messaging, communication, or consumer utility products
